HORNET ANNOUNCEMENTS

Hornet Announcements are a daily digest of news and updates that are delivered to the email inboxes of ESU students, faculty and staff each week day between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM. The announcements are also available to read online on Hornet 365 and appear on Hornet TV. To submit a Hornet Announcement, please complete the Hornet Promote form.

Hornet Announcements should be submitted by 2:00 PM if you would like them to appear in that day's digest. Please use the Hornet Promote form.

Individual posts are moderated by Marketing + Communication and will only be published once per calendar week (M-F).

Do not include long URL's or direct URL's to services that immediately require login. Please request a shortened URL and, if possible, link to a landing page.

WHAT ELSE SHOULD I KNOW BEFORE SUBMITTING A HORNET ANNOUNCEMENT?

  • Individual posts will only be published once per calendar week (Monday through Friday). Hornet Announcements are not posted on weekends or days that campus is closed.
     
  • Items must be submitted by 2 p.m. Monday through Friday for inclusion in the email digest of Hornet Announcements that is sent at 4 p.m. each day.
     
  • Hornet Announcements are primarily intended for ESU students, and submissions should be appropriately directed to this audience. View our Additional Guidelines.
