All new, on-campus first-year and transfer students are placed in one of our awesome Learning Communities (LCs). Each LC has a group of new Hornets and a Faculty Mentor. Faculty Mentors answer questions, help you navigate your School, and connect you with campus and community resources.
You are placed into a Learning Community based on your school or degree program. LCs help you:
- Get the up and up on campus and community life.
- Connect with other new Hornets.
- Develop your confidence and grit.
- Find campus activities and resources.
- Jumpstart your college and career success.
